The power of Hunger

"Neuroimaging studies have shown that the brain's reward system is activated when we experience hunger, releasing dopamine and motivating us to seek food"

(Kringelbach, 2009).

Is there a correlation between hunger and horse power? What is your take on this?

The Horse power of a car is what pushes the car to the best of its ability. A horse starved for more than a day is going to chase a carrot on a stick tied on its head even to the end of the earth just to satisfy its hunger. This same theory applies to humans as well. A hungry man asked to work for food is going to work so hard that his strength derived from hunger will shock you.

But why is this so?

Hunger is a driving force which can be used to the advantage of whomever it comes upon.

When you see a car with a Horse power of 8000 in action no one tells you, but you know that car is a "beast". Hunger can't be measured but it can be quantified using time. A man who has been starved for a whole week becomes a roaring "beast" who will do anything possible to quench the "fire" is his belly.

You cannot develop the hunger for something you do not know about. It only comes into play when information about it is known. It is worst when an individual gets detailed information or a taste/feel of something good. A man who has tasted power and wealth develops a strong hunger for these and when lost or taken away, he will do everything and anything to get it back because Hunger has become his master. Hunger increases after every consumption. It makes you want more and better versions of what you just consumed. This is bad in the hands of one without the POWER OF SELF DISCIPLINE.

You can't harness the power of your hunger when you cannot tame it. Become the master of your hunger and not the vice versa. Hunger is good but wild and untamed hunger causes blood shed, stealing, betrayal and many more bad and illegal acts. The power of your hunger is locked away when you give in to it. A tamed and controlled hunger pushes you to the best of your ability. It challenges you to become a better version of yourself. IT BECOMES YOUR HORSE POWER.

"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment "

Jim Rohn

Every hunger is psychological-hunger for food, water, power, money etc, this is why it can be controlled. DISCIPLINE has the ability to turn every Man into a King and every Woman into a Queen. Discipline births competence, consistency, productivity, growth , success and progress.

A disciplined man is a winner and a high performer because it shuts you up and makes you more of a listner than a talker. You need discipline to be that business tycoon you dream of being or a professional at what you do or are currently learning. Yes, even Worship- you need discipline to be able to worship God Almighty in spirit and in truth.

"Hunger is a sauce"

Proverbs, old testament

Just imagine the heights you can reach with a dose of discipline every single day of your life. Tame your hunger with discipline. Learn to fight and overtake your hunger.

"Self control is strength. Right thought is mastery. Calmness is power."
James Allen

Do not give into its desires and pleasures. "Kill" yourself to hunger so that you are not its slave. Do not buy a Bugatti Veron when financial wise you can only afford a Toyota Vitz. Rather, tame that hunger and allow it push you to the top of the financial ladder so that buying the whole Bugatti company would be a piece of cake.

"Hunger without discipline is like a car without brakes"

Zephaniah

Hunger attracts debt, debt leads to frustration and suicide. Discipline attracts wealth and peace. Don't allow your hunger of lust push you into a relationship or marriage of pain and regrets, mold it into a hunger of companionship so that it selects the best partner for you.

Your hunger doesn't define who you are.
