An internship, commonly known as an experience gaining task for students has become very compulsory in tertiary institutions today. An internship prepares us for real world experiences, it prepares us to solve problems we might face in our career, allows us to have a feel of what we're about to go into. It is quite intriguing as we get to apply all the knowledge we've acquired so far and get to know our strengths and weaknesses.

What I want from an internship is to gain practical knowledge, more than I thought I could get. I want to foster good relationships in the workplace and build on my teamwork and collaboration skills. I want to be able to freely apply all I've learnt without having to feel inadequate as I'm still in the learning process. I want to go through the internship and discover that there is a lot more out there waiting for me to come and conquer.
