We all dream in one way or another. Some nights it’s a wild nightmare you can’t shake off, other nights it’s something beautiful, funny, or strangely interesting. And sometimes… we don’t dream at all. Or at least we don’t remember anything when we wake up. It doesn’t mean the dreams didn’t happen — it’s just that the mind sometimes chooses to forget.

For me, I’ve always enjoyed dreams. I won’t say sleeping is my hobby, but I genuinely like sleeping because it gives me that moment to enter another world. When you dream, you interact with scenes, feelings, and people that don’t exist physically, but somehow make sense in that moment. You wake up like, ah okay, that was something. It’s almost like entertainment for the mind.

And then there’s the deeper side of dreams — the spiritual part. I won’t go too far into it, but dreams and spirituality are connected in ways we can’t always explain. A dream can affect you physically: you can wake up sweating, shaking, or even with a headache. Some dreams feel so unusual you know you must pray about them, because it didn’t feel like a normal dream at all.

One thing that made me laugh was when I watched Inside Out and saw how the movie acted out dreams. I was sitting there like, ah is this really how our dreams are created? The whole idea of feelings acting on a stage to form dreams was funny and interesting. But truthfully, if you overthink how dreams work, you can confuse yourself. It’s too much to process — the mind is really powerful.

I remember one scary dream I had that I will never forget. I was dreaming, and inside the dream I wanted to wake up because the dream was frightening. So I “woke up”… only to realize I was still dreaming. That thing is scary oh — dreaming inside a dream. You’re fighting to open your eyes and escape, but you’re still stuck in another layer. Eventually I came out of it, but it stayed with me for a long time. And there was a day after a dream like that when I woke up with a serious morning headache. It wasn’t funny.

Dreams are strange, but dreams are cool. They tell us things, show us things, confuse us, entertain us, warn us, and sometimes just play with our minds for no reason. But they always leave something behind.

But, I want to ask the question, what is that one dream you had that, like, that you will never forget, or that was actually scary, and what did you think about it? I know it's your personal issue, but you can just share. Yeah, I think I'm curious. For I'm curious Mae 😅.
